MANAGING DIRECTOR
As a naval architect and marine engineer, Howard has worked both at shipyards and as an Owner’s Representative, seeing all sides of the new construction and refit process. His two-decade experience is immensely hands-on, representing owners at respected shipyards including Oceanco, HDW (now Nobiskrug), Admiral, Heesen and Benetti.
A broad portfolio includes 10-year special surveys, managing complex interior refits, budget and quality control on new construction projects. Howard has worked with some of the world’s top designers making teamwork central to collaborating with Captains, brokers, managers and reporting to Owners.
Setting up Mayfair Marine allows Howard to bring a dynamic work ethic to every single project and to demonstrate how technical efficiency fundamentally improves every superyacht.
Malcolm Lindsay

PROJECT MANAGER
Malcolm has extensive experience working for top technical consultancies. A chief engineer brought through the ranks in the Merchant Navy, he has been a surveyor and project manager for new builds and refits at Amels, Abeking & Rasmussen, Lürssen, Nobiskrug and others.
Due to his depth of knowledge in the yachting industry he has been engaged as an expert witness in the courts of law and arbitration. A global troubleshooter, Malcolm has worked as an Owner’s Representative throughout Europe and China.
A qualified ISM auditor and ISPS security officer, he brings the all round balance of sound sense and technical knowledge that relates equally to the shipyard’s and owner’s teams.
IVO VELDHUIS

Technical Manager
Ivo has worked for both Owners and shipyards, which means he truly understands the different perspectives in this industry.
Working in a variety of roles from Owner’s Representative through to Yacht Design Manager, Ivo’s project management and design experience has covered technically complicated new build and refit projects. Ivo is also widely involved in the new technology of alternative fuels (LNG), electric propulsion, fuel cells and hydrogen. As well as his impressive academic record, Ivo has also focused on the business side of yachting and gained his MBA in 2015. Ivo brings a wealth of technical and regulatory knowledge, combined with 20 years of project experience to Mayfair Marine.
Madeline Craig

Madeline has over a decade of management experience in a major national business. She has also been the director of her own company while simultaneously helping to set up a selection of new start-up ventures using her business development skills.
Madeline brings highly structured project management and leadership experience to large projects, organising time and work flow with efficiency and calm.
